SV	Ook deden zij hun zonen en hun dochteren door het vuur gaan, en gebruikten waarzeggerijen, en gaven op vogelgeschrei acht, en verkochten zich, om te doen dat kwaad was in de ogen des HEEREN, om Hem tot toorn te verwekken.
WLC	וַֽ֠יַּעֲבִירוּ אֶת־בְּנֵיהֶ֤ם וְאֶת־בְּנֹֽותֵיהֶם֙ בָּאֵ֔שׁ וַיִּקְסְמ֥וּ קְסָמִ֖ים וַיְנַחֵ֑שׁוּ וַיִּֽתְמַכְּר֗וּ לַעֲשֹׂ֥ות הָרַ֛ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לְהַכְעִיסֹֽו׃
Trans.	wayy^a‘ăḇîrû ’eṯ-bənêhem wə’eṯ-bənwōṯêhem bā’ēš wayyiqəsəmû qəsāmîm wayən^aḥēšû wayyiṯəmakərû l^a‘ăśwōṯ hār^a‘ bə‘ênê JHWH ləhaḵə‘îswō:

AC	יז ויעבירו את בניהם ואת בנותיהם באש ויקסמו קסמים וינחשו ויתמכרו לעשות הרע בעיני יהוה--להכעיסו
ASV	And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger.
BE	And they made their sons and their daughters go through the fire, and they made use of secret arts and unnatural powers, and gave themselves up to doing evil in the eyes of the Lord, till he was moved to wrath.
Darby	and they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger.
